What Does Trail Rated Mean?
To earn the coveted Trail Rated badge, Jeep Wrangler models must pass grueling tests in five key categories:

Traction is key for crawling over rocks, climbing hills, and navigating slippery or uneven surfaces.
The Wrangler's water fording capability and high air intake allow it to navigate shallow water.
Articulation measures how well the suspension can travel up and down, keeping the tires in contact with the ground on severe inclines and declines.
Finally, with up to 11.4 inches of ground clearance, protective skid plates, and a high approach, breakover, and departure angles, the Wrangler can safely clear obstacles.
